Public pays tribute to Evel Knievel

The public paid its last respects to daredevil Evel Knievel on Monday, Dec. 10, during a memorial service in Butte, Montana.

Dozens attended Monday's memorial to Knievel, during which the Rev. Robert H. Schuller spoke. The ceremony was filled with patriotic and holiday themes.

The Rev. Robert H. Schuller, founding pastor of the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, Calif., joins pallbearers who loaded Knievel's casket after the service. Schuller spoke during the memorial.

The public was able to pay its last respects to daredevil Evel Knievel on Monday in Butte, Montana. He died on Nov. 30 after battling illness for years.

The '70s icon, aka Robert Craig Knievel, made a name for himself doing death-defying stunts mostly on his motorcycle.
