Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus, two of the three Ohio women held captive in the basement of a Cleveland home, demanded an apology from Rivers in April 2014 after she made a comment about how her living space at her daughter's house was smaller than theirs.

Even "Friends" sweetheart Jennifer Aniston isn't safe from Rivers' acid tongue: "I'm so bored with her and her stupid movies. They're all the same, I don't know how they get financed."

Rivers dissed Posh Spice: "“Victoria Beckham is so nasty. Why doesn't she just go home? Her dresses are beautiful, but I don't care what she does. She's mean to all the people around her. She's too short to be a diva. We all use the same hairdressers, make-up artists, limo-drivers and greeters at the airports in LA and nobody has anything nice to say about her."

Rivers made no friends of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian when she called their daughter North "ugly" and said she'd "never seen a six-month-old baby so desperately in need fo a waxing."

Fans cried foul when Rivers made comments about singer Adele's weight: "What is her song? Rolling in the deep? She should add fried chicken!" She also made a weight-related comment when Adele gave birth: "Congratulations to Adele on the birth of her 68 pound 8 ounces bouncing baby boy."

Gwyneth Paltrow made a comment about not wanting to get botox because she didn't want to look like Rivers, so Rivers shot back: "When I put my head up my (backside), I look like her -- which is why I don't do that, either! Sweetheart, eat a sandwich! Make a hat of white bread and put it on. Take some ketchup and just paint your nails with it."

Khloe Kardashian pulled out of co-hosting an episode of "Fashion Police" with Rivers after the comedienne spoofed a sex tape made by Kardashian's sister Kim and then-boyfriend Ray J.

Rivers called Britney Spears "white trash" and said, "I can’t wait for her career to be over so she can serve me coffee at a 7-11."

Rivers irked some with her comment on deaf and blind pioneer Helen Keller during a stand-up routine, telling the crowd she doesn't like kids, but would make an exception for Keller.

The "Hunger Games" actress took Rivers to task for being judgmental on her E! show "Fashion Police," which started a war of sorts between the two. "It’s funny how Jennifer Lawrence loved 'Fashion Police' during awards season when we were complimenting her every single week...but now that she has a movie to promote, suddenly we’re picking on all those poor, helpless actors. WAIT! It just dawned on me why Jennifer Lawrence fell on her way up to the stage to get her Oscar. She tripped over her own arrogance."

Rivers took on Lindsay Lohan in 2010 during the actress' legal troubles: "Lindsay Lohan is so dumb. Her idea of being sworn in is cursing at the judge" and "Lindsay Lohan said she wouldn't mind being under oath because she thought Oath was a Norwegian ski instructor."

Rivers took on actress Angelina Jolie's dress with a high slit at the 2012 Oscars, saying the dress made it look like Jolie had a feminine infection and was "trying to air it out."

After Miley Cyrus' infamous 2013 MTV VMAs performance, Rivers called her "disgusting" and said she would never let her daughter attend her concerts if she was younger.

In 2009, Rivers made a joke about it being her her turn to slap Rihanna after the singer decided to reconcile with Chris Brown, who had assaulted her.

Rivers ruffled feathers in 2013 after a comment (in so many words) equating German supermodel Heidi Klum's attractiveness to the Holocaust

Rivers compared poker player Annie Duke to Hitler when both appeared on "Celebrity Apprentice."
