"Imaginary Worlds: Plants Larger Than Life" comes to the Atlanta Botanical Garden May 4 and continues through October. These monumental living sculptures are covered with 118,000 plants.

The largest sculpture, a 25-foot-tall representation of a goddess emerging from the earth, greets visitors in the Cascades Garden.

The Ogre sits just outside the entrance to Day Hall. Horticulturists Lindsey Blackmon (left) and Trey Fletcher keep his beard in trim.

The fountain at the back of the Great Lawn is now occupied by two Dancing Fish, which move around on a turntable, spouting water back into the fountain.

Teal Jordan, assistant horticulturist, keeps a group of rabbits trimmed.

Workers finish up the installation of the Giant Berries in the Edible Garden (to the right of Fuqua Conservatory).

Mary Pat Matheson, Botanical Garden president and CEO, checks out one of the two cobras beside beside the Day Hall. Some finishing touches will be completed for the opening.
