Photos: Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta ups its dining game with Ecco, The Varsity.

Councourse F at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is stepping up its culinary game with some new additions, including Ecco.

The restaurant, which also has a Midtown location, serves up dishes including small plates, pizzas and pastas.

Airport Ecco is owned and operated by the HMSHost Corp. — a company that likes to partner with local restaurant groups throughout the country to bring local flavors and talents to the often-grim business of airport concessions.

Signature Ecco dishes include fried goat cheese fritters and grilled pork chops.

The restaurant also offers an extensive wine list, including 40 wines available by the glass.

Ecco opened in the airport in March 2013.

The decor in the airport version of Ecco mostly mirrors the decor in the Midtown location.

The restaurant's "patio" opens onto the concourse.

The restaurant is open daily from 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

In addition to The Varsity, Ecco and The Original El Taco, Concourse F features Sweet Auburn Market Cafe and The Pecan.

The Virginia-Highland spot The Original El Taco makes its Hartsfield-Jackson debut in Concourse F.
