Photos: Famous singers caught lip-syncing
Eminem was accused of lip-syncing during his 2013 "Saturday Night Live" performance, but denies the claims.
Opera singer Luciano Pavaratti lip-synced the song "Nessun Dorma" at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Whitney Houston was accused of lip-syncing the National Anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl, a claim she denied.
Janet Jackson was called "one of pop's most notorious onstage lip synchers" in a 2001 article.
Lindsay Lohan was caught lip-syncing on "Good Morning America" in 2008.
R. Kelly laid the microphone down during a 2004 show at Madison Square Garden while his backing tracks kept singing.
Kanye West was accused of lip-syncing during a 2008 "Saturday Night Live" performance.
Beyonce was accused of lip-syncing the National Anthem at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration. She admitted using backing vocals because she felt "unprepared," and later sang the song live.
Ashlee Simpson was caught lip-syncing during her 2004 "Saturday Night Live" performance when her backing track failed. She later blamed the need to lip-sync on her acid reflux.
Britney Spears was accused of lip-syncing at the 2007 MTV VMAs, the Australian leg of her 2009 tour and several other performances.
Justin Bieber was caught lip-syncing during a 2012 show in Arizona when his vocals continued while he threw up onstage. A music critic also accused him of lip-syncing during a 2013 New Jersey show.
Rihanna was accused of lip-syncing during a 2012 performance in Scotland and several 2013 performance, including shows in Singapore and India.
Ashley Tisdale was accused of badly lip-syncing the song "Last Christmas" during the 2007 Macy's Thanksigiving Day Parade.
Madonna was accused of lip-syncing the National Anthem during the 2012 Super Bowl.
Jennifer Hudson was accused of lip-syncing the National Anthem during the 2009 Super Bowl.(though, to be fair, the NFL reportedly asks singers to use a backing vocal when they perform the song).
Jordin Sparks was accused of lip-syncing the National Anthem during the 2008 Super Bowl.
Katy Perry was accused of lip-syncing during a 2011 concert.
50 Cent was caught lip-syncing during the 2007 BET Awards.
Queen was accused of using playback during a 1984 show in Italy.
