He says men should find women who can cook well and who will "pick their ducks," which means clean the feathers off a dead duck. (Via A&E)

And then: "You wait 'til they get to be 20 years old. The only picking that's going to take place is your pocket. You've got to marry these girls about 15 or 16; they'll pick your ducks." (Via YouTube / Universe23)

Robertson says a man does need to check with a girl's parents before marrying her, but again, he advises age 15 or 16 is the right age to marry women. He called his advice "river rat counseling."

People Magazine reports the footage is from a 2009 Georgia Sportsmen's Ministry event. Robertson actually made similar comments in his hit book, released earlier this year.

He advises men: "If you can find a nice, pretty country girl who can cook and carries her Bible, now there's a woman. She might even be ugly, but if she cooks squirrels and dumplings, then that's the woman you go after." (Via Google Books)

He advises a man to eat at least six of a woman's meals before marrying her.

Of course, Robertson has made headlines in recent weeks for an interview with GQ in which he spoke out against homosexuality as a sin and said African Americans were happier before the civil rights movement.

He was suspended by his show's network, A&E, but after support from fans, A&E reinstated him. (Via The Washington Post)

So far there's been no comment from A&E on this latest video.
