Paranoia Haunted House

There's no shortage of haunted houses around the Atlanta area to keep Halloween fanatics screaming all October long.

WSBTV.com's Nelson Hicks visited several of them this Halloween season.

Today's visit lands us at a haunt that Georgia Haunt Review gave nine out of 10 stabs. It's Paranoia Haunted House in Roswell.

"This is our third year doing it," co-creator David Leikam said. "My partner, Oliver, and I a few years ago decided to start doing our own haunted house. We've been in the industry for about 10 years now and it was just time to do our own thing. And here we are three years later."

Leikam noted Paranoia Haunted House features a lot of scenes for characters. There's less animatronics and more human interaction with Paranoia's actors.

The attraction offers two haunts: Body Farm and the Underground.

"It's dark and it's creepy and we've got sound effects going on and monsters that are hovering around me that come at you and scare you," Leikam said. "So, you get a lot of entertainment and a whole lot of scare."

Paranoia Haunted House is open every night through Nov. 2.
