Waka Flocka Flame, the Atlanta rapper who's well-known for his troubles with the law, had another run-in with police over the weekend.

Flame was arrested in New York on Saturday and spent a night in jail after being caught with marijuana at a mall in Queens, MTV.com reported Monday. He was subsequently released without being charged, the website said.

Flame, whose real name is Juaquin Malphurs, tweeted about the incident Sunday:

“I’m finna jump on my flight 2 Kc ....... sorry 2 da whole m town 4 not coming I had spend a nite n jail with no charge #onlybecauseirap. Can’t no 1 stop with GOD got planned 4me know that.”

Malphurs was released from jail in Henry County in January after surrendering on charges including drug and weapons possession as well as criminal street gang activity and a probation violation.

In December, police arrested two people at Malphurs' Henry County home for possession of a minor amount of marijuana. Malphurs wasn't at home at the time but was still charged.

He was arrested in Houston County in March 2010 for leaving Georgia for a concert, which violated his probation from a 2006 incident. At the time, he pleaded guilty to possession of a sawed-off shotgun and received four years' probation, according to the Houston County Superior Court Clerk's office.
