Super Bowl halftime show: The Who

The Who perform live during Super Bowl XLVI halftime show at Sun Life Stadium in Miami.

The Who, fronted by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, were the halftime entertainment at Super Bowl XLIV in Miami on Sunday.

Pete Townshend got things started with an acoustic introduction to "Pinball Wizard." He windmilled his guitar during a brief nod to "See Me, Feel Me" before the band finished up with "Won't Get Fooled Again."

Different from this performance to years past was the lack of an audience on the field in favor of a bigger light show.

Even if not on the field, fans were into the show.

The Who played a medley of some of their greatest hits "Pinball Wizard," "Baba O'Riley," "Tommy," "Who Are You," and "Won't Get Fooled Again."

Roger Daltrey brought out a harmonica as the band broke into "Who Are You."

The Who rocked along to a laser and pyrotechnic display.

The Who's performance at Super Bowl XLIV coincides with release of "The Who Greatest Hits Live" album, which contains 22 tracks.
