On New Year's Day, country music star Brett Eldredge was celebrating the arrival of 2017 on Staniel Cay Island in the Bahamas, People magazine reported. As he ambled into the bathroom, Eldredge discovered a snake in his toilet.

Atlanta among airports where FAA will cut flights due to shutdown

The U.S. Department of Transportation will cut flights by 10% across 40 of the nation’s busiest airports on Friday to alleviate pressure on air traffic controllers.
