The British soul singer and songwriter released his sixth album, 'Soul,' a collection of soul classics, in November 2008.

Seal's single "Amazing" was nominated in 2007 for the "Best Male Pop Vocal Performance" Grammy.

Seal's performance is part of the 2009 Live Nation Concert Series at Chastain. Coming up in the series are concerts by Heart and Joan Jett, Atlanta's Zac Brown Band, Al Green and Etta James, and The Fray.

Seal was born Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel in London to Nigerian parents.

Seal performed for a time with the British funk band Push in the 1980s, but his first big break came with the single 'Killer' in 1990, which rose to No. 1 in Britain.

Seal proposed to German supermodel Heidi Klum in December 2004 at 7,000 feet, in an igloo on a glacier in Whistler, British Columbia. They married in May 2005 on a beach near Seal's home in Costa Careye, Mexico.

In June 2005, Seal recorded a special concert at the Altes Kesselhaus (old boiler house), in Dusseldorf, Germany, accompanied by his band, a full orchestra and a 52-member choir.

Peter Cincotti, a New York-born singer, songwriter and pianist, opened the concert. His latest work, 'East of Angel Town,' features all original works and was released in 2007 in Europe and in January 2009 in the United States.
