About 100 "Bert Show" winners won their way into the station's "All Access to Rob Thomas" private luncheon at the Hard Rock Cafe downtown on Thursday, Aug. 20.

Rob Thomas, right, performed with bass guitarist Matt Beck. Thomas is best known as the frontman for Matchbox 20 and the Grammy Award-winning co-writer and vocalist on the hit "Smooth," from Carlos Santana's 1999 "Supernatural" album.

Bert Weiss, center, interviewed Rob Thomas between songs. Thomas, who was in town to introduce fans to selections from his new solo effort, "Cradlesong," gave up some personal tidbits when he wasn't doing stripped-down versions of "Lonely No More," and "Her Diamonds."

Singer songwriter Rob Thomas autographs and donates the Prada shirt he performed in to Hard Rock's memorabilia collection. Thomas will soon return to Atlanta for a date at the Fox Theatre on Sept. 30.
