A large crowd waited until 2 a.m. for Rick Ross to take the stage in support of his sophomore album, 'Trilla.'

William Roberts, better known by his stage name Rick Ross, was born on Jan. 21, 1977, in Carol City, Fla. His first album was 'Port of Miami.'

In 2006, Rick Ross established Rick Ross Charities Inc. which offers educational, social and mentoring programs.

Trilla features guest appearances by R. Kelley, Jay-Z, T-Pain, Lil Wayne, Mannie Fresh, Akon, Young Jeezy, Flo Rida, Nelly, Trick Daddy and others.

Rick Ross will make his acting debut this year alongside Laurence Fishburn in 'Days of Wrath.'

After a stop in Columbus, Ga., Rick Ross travels next to Washington, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Newark, Tallahassee, Greenville and Los Angeles.

The large crowd was entertained by various DJs and several women acrobats before Rick Ross appeared at 2 a.m.

Rick Ross came to Atlanta as Trilla debuted as No. 1 on The Billboard 200.
