Friday: Phoenix. The French pop groups frontman, Thomas Mars, is married to director Sofia Coppola.

Friday: Cake. The Sacramento alt-rock group, known for their sarcastic lyrics, has been on the touring circuit since the early 1990s.

Friday: The Mowgli's. The eight-piece group from California made its major-label debut in June 2013.

Friday: Drivin' N Cryin'. The Atlanta rock band has been recording since the mid-1980s. The documentary "Scarred but Smarter: Life n Times of Drivin n Cryin" was released in 2012. NOT PICTURED: North Mississippi All-Stars.

Saturday: Red Hot Chili Peppers. The California alt-rock group fronted by Anthony Kiedis was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.

Saturday: Queens of the Stone Age. Josh Homme, the leader of the California rock band, also plays with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl in Them Crooked Vultures.

Saturday: Imagine Dragons. The Las Vegas group released its debut album, "Night Visions," in 2012.

Saturday: Weezer. The Rivers Cuomo-fronted alt-rock band has released nine albums, and is reportedly working on a tenth.

Saturday: Kendrick Lamar. The California rapper released his debut album, "good kid, m.A.A.d. city" in 2012. It has since been certified gold.

Saturday: Tegan and Sara. The Canadian twin sisters released the album "Heartthrob" in early 2013.

Saturday: The Black Lips. The Atlanta garage rock band is known for their high-energy live shows.

Saturday: Reignwolf. The rock band is also playing Lollpalooza and Austin City Limits this year.

Saturday: The Neighbourhood. The California alt-rock group released its debut album, "I Love You." in April 2013.

Saturday: ZZ Ward. The singer/songwriter broke through in 2012 with her single "Put the Gun Down."

Saturday: Mona. The group's members come from Kentucky and Ohio. Their debut album was released in 2012.
