Is One Direction breaking up?
The rumor, reported in Us Weekly, claims a source close to the boy band says the band will break up for good soon so they can pursue solo careers.
The source claims the bandmates will remain good friends.
This might surprise many fans as One Direction members have denied break up rumors in the past. Each member explained it was only a break for some rest and relaxation and that they would reunite at some point in the near future.
One Direction has not addressed the current rumor. In December, a group thank you message was posted to fans on the band’s Twitter page. In the video, they allude to hoping that fans will enjoy their music for “many more years to come.”
A tweet from Naill Horan seemed to place doubt on the breakup rumor.
