Nicki Minaj bristled online — apparently while comparing herself to Taylor Swift — after she was nominated in three categories but her video with Beyonce, "Feeling Myself," was overlooked and not named in MTV's 2015 VMA nominations.

In a series of tweets, Minaj suggests her "Anaconda" video — which was nominated for best female video and best hip-hop video - might have been nominated for video of the year if she were more like Swift - "a different 'kind' of artist' with a video that "celebrates women with very slim bodies."
Swift's "Bad Blood" is up for video of the year. She tweeted at Minaj: "I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot."
Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran and Mark Ronson also are up for video of the year.
