The ‘80s alt-rockers released their 19th studio album last month, the third and final one to contain songs from their 2015 “Dial-A-Song” service. The gimmick started in the band’s formative years when they would record songs onto an answering machine and then advertise the number in local publications such as The Village Voice. The Brooklyn phone number was disconnected in 2008, but revived last year with a new number — 1-844-387-6962 — and website.

Pokey LaFarge
St. Louis loves its native son so much that the renowned Pappy’s Smokehouse has christened one of its smokers Porky LaFarge. Seriously. The Americana singer-songwriter has enjoyed a smoldering career of his own for the past decade, as he creates music that mingles blues, Western swing, ragtime and jazz. His seventh album, “Something in the Water,” marked his debut on Rounder Records, but signing to a bigger label didn’t dilute his vivid storytelling.

Mumford & Sons
Fans of the British band who might plan to attend both of their concerts next week won't have to worry about a duplicate show. In a recent interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, frontman Marcus Mumford said the band gets "bored pretty quickly," so changes to the set list are a regular occurrence. Mumford & Sons released their third album, "Wilder Mind," last May.

Justin Bieber
The onetime Atlanta resident has, we think, matured a tad this past year both as a musician and a person. His "Purpose" album obviously had a point to prove, and Bieber made it intently, quickly returning to the charts with the dance-lite toe-tappers "What Do You Mean?", "Sorry" and the Ed Sheeran co-write, "Love Yourself." So far, the shows on his 50-plus-city tour, which launched in Seattle on March 9, have included appearances of old faves "Boyfriend" and "Baby." Expect an acoustic segment, as Bieber presented at his December performance at Philips Arena for the Power 96.1 Jingle Ball.

Elle King
The sassy "Ex's and Oh's" belter was an undeniable highlight at last year's Music Midtown, and she's still charming live audiences with her biting humor and formidable singing chops. Her debut album, "Love Stuff," has been out for more than a year, but between the breakthrough "Ex's" and current rollicking rocker "America's Sweetheart," don't expect King to go quiet anytime soon.
