FRIDAY
Idina Menzel
Since the Broadway vet launched her U.S. tour earlier this month — after being overseas since May — she’s maintained a set list sure to captivate. Fans can expect to hear the best two songs from “Wicked” (“Defying Gravity,” “For Good”), as well as plenty of other Broadway nods and interesting covers, from the Police to Radiohead. Oh, yeah, and some “Frozen” song is on the set list, too.
8 p.m. July 24. $35.50-$105.50. Chastain Park Amphitheatre, 4469 Stella Drive N.W., Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com.
SATURDAY
Jeezy
It’s been a decade since Jeezy (then known as “Young” Jeezy) released “Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101.” The Atlanta rapper will celebrate the milestone by performing the classic album — which hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart and No. 1 on the Top Rap and Top R&B/Hip-Hop album charts in 2005 — in its entirety for the first time. Special guests are expected to join Jeezy as he rolls through songs such as “And Then What,” “Soul Survivor” and “My Hood,” though their identities are being kept a surprise.
8 p.m. July 25. $60.10-$225.55. Fox Theatre, 660 Peachtree St. N.E., Atlanta. 1-855-285-8499, foxtheatre.org.
Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson
It’s fitting and amusing that these two doom-and-gloom acts have dubbed their joint tour the End Times. It’s actually a bit of a return time for Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, who is back with the band for its first true set of live shows since releasing “Moments to An Elegy” in December. Manson, meanwhile, spent much of 2015 touring behind his latest, “The Pale Emperor,” but his current stage show includes plenty of throwbacks to past favorites, including “The Dope Show” and his nightmare-inducing cover of the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of These).”
7 p.m. July 25. $27-$72. Aaron's Amphitheatre at Lakewood, 2002 Lakewood Way, Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, livenation.com.
WEDNESDAY
Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga
When these two first got together, the initial response was a collective “Huh?” But Bennett is a wily pro and one who knows an authentic singer when he hears one. Gaga, for that matter, is a tremendous vocalist when not buried under electronic wizardry and shrouded in ridiculous outfits. Expect some top-notch big band-jazz and cutesy banter.
8 p.m. July 29. $48-$150. Chastain Park Amphitheatre. This is a no-table setup; coolers and carry-ins are not allowed. 1-800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com.
THURSDAY
Toby Keith
In June, Keith was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. It’s a well-deserved honor for the country outlaw, who has been a lyrical straight shooter since his 1993 debut album. In October, he’s due to release his 18th studio album, “35 MPH Town,” and is giving fans a preview with this Good Times & Pick Up Lines tour, which launched in May and includes the company of Athens native Colt Ford (who helped Jason Aldean’s rise to stardom with “My Kinda Party,” which he co-wrote with Brantley Gilbert) and Nashville songwriter Chris Janson (who released his own “Buy Me a Boat” earlier this year).
With Colt Ford and Chris Janson. 7 p.m. July 30. $30.25-$60. Aaron's Amphitheatre at Lakewood, 2002 Lakewood Way, Atlanta. 1-800-745-3000, livenation.com.
