When the 33rd annual Atlanta Jazz Fest heads to Piedmont Park the final weekend in May, there will plenty of cool sounds to please listeners. Plus, the event is free.

Acts named to main stage include The Steven Charles Band, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, Swing Streets to Swing Beats, and Marcus Miller's take on the music of Miles Davis. That's just the first day.

On Sunday, May 30, Kathleen Bertrand, Spyro Gyra, MF Production's Celebration of Lionel Hampton, and the Stanley Clarke Band and Hiromi take the stage.

Did we mention it's free?

For those jazz fanatics that just can't wait for Memorial Day Weekend, 31 days of Jazz will help fill all of May with music at various Atlanta venues.
