Here's another look at Lady Gaga's startling performance. Her outfit included special devices which, when activated, shoot sparks and smoke from the chest area.

The Black Eyed Peas, who dress much differently than the Jonas Brothers, wore the same outfits on the red carpet as they did for their performance.

Canadian singer / songwriter Shiloh was nominated for her video 'Goodbye, You Suck,' but did not win. She hails from Regina, Saskatchewan.

Nickelback, perhaps Canada's most successful pop band, won several categories at the MuchMusic Video Awards. The group originally was from Hanna, Alberta, but now operates out of Vancouver, British Columbia.

In this segment, Lady Gaga appears to be beaten by two women dressed as police officers.
