Kem headlined a night of R&B and neo-soul Thursday night at the nearly full Fox Theatre, with opening acts Musiq Soulchild and Ledisi providing support. A second show was added Friday.

Taalib Johnson, better known by his stage name Musiq Soulchild, is a R&B/soul singer-songwriter whose style blends contemporary R&B, soul, funk, alternative, blues, jazz, some gospel influences and hip-hop.
