Pop star Justin Bieber revealed a small cross tattooed near his left eye in May 2016, a nod to his faith.

Lil Wayne got the word "Baked" tattooed on his forehead in January 2013. Weezy also has several teardrops, a fleur-de-lis, "fear" and "God" on his eyelids, a cross between his eyes and "I Am Music" above one eye.

TMZ is reporting that R&B star Chris Brown got the likeness of on-again-off-again girlfriend Rihanna -- who the singer was charged with assaulting in 2009 -- tattooed on the side of his neck.

Sure, we're talking about face ink, but we think Game's neck should get an honorable mention -- only a real player gets his own name tattooed on his body. That way, if he forgets who he is after a long night of partying, he has only to look in the mirror -- and read backward -- for a reminder.

Soulja Boy Tell 'Em -- that you got some eyebrow-raising ink on your face. The Chinese symbols on his cheek and the letters "SODMG" -- standing for Stacks On Deck Money Gang -- above his eye might be hard for the Atlanta rapper to explain to future employers if he ever fades into obscurity.

Bryan "Birdman" Williams is nothing if not a man constantly evolving. He started out with an oil rig behind his ear, a nod to the oil-energy company he formed with his brother (yes, really). He later replaced it with a giant red star and got one on top of his head for good measure (yes, really). It doesn't stop there -- he also has several teardrops and his initials tattooed on his face.

Here's the thing, Gucci Mane -- we love ice cream, too. We really do. But we can't say we support your decision to get an ice cream cone -- complete with lightning bolts coming out of it -- permanently etched onto your face. If you weren't a hometown boy, we might not let it slide, but since you are, we'll just call it one of your many lovable quirks.

Boxer Mike Tyson arguably started the face tattoo trend when he got inked in 2003 -- the tattoo artist who designed the tat has sued the makers of "The Hangover" for copyright infringement.
