Elton John took the time to explain his inspiration for his new work. He said "Oceans Away," was dedicated to the armed forces and that "Holiday Inn," was inspired from years of performing on the road.

After playing for two and a half hours, John's power surged into the closer "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting."

The Croatian duo 2Cellos –Stjepan Hauser and Luka Sulic – warmed up the crowd with some interesting covers, including Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal."
