About the only silver lining to the news that “boat marks, foot prints and dog prints were found today” is that the search area was reduced by 50 percent, according to the wife of missing country singer Craig Strickland.
Craig Strickland, 29, of Springdale, Arkansas, disappeared - along with a friend who was found dead - while duck hunting in a boat in a 38-mile long lake in northern Oklahoma.
Strickland is the lead singer of the Arkansas-based country-rock band Backroad Anthem.
The expansive terrain, coupled with the severe storms that pounded the area over the weekend, hampered rescue efforts.
Earlier Thursday, Helen Strickland posted an Instagram photo of a bible she said her husband had highlighted.
