Backstreet's Back Alright!

The Backstreet Boys were back on Wednesday night, hitting the stage at Chastain Park Amphitheatre.

A blast from the 90's past, the Backstreet Boys remain the best-selling boy band of all time. Band member Howard Dwaine Dorough, also known as "Howie D."

Fans of all ages emerged for the concert. Joann (left) and Jessica Logan sport their love for original band member Kevin Richardson who left the group two years ago.

Eleven-year-old Maddie Lepine, from Lawrenceville, chose to come see Backstreet instead of new teen sensations, the Jonas Brothers, who hit the stage at Lakewood Amphitheatre this same night.

Singing group Girlicious opened the show.

The girls vied among thousands on the CW network⿿s smash television reality show ⿿The Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious.⿝ Their album hasn't hit stores yet in the U.S. but can be picked up in Canada.

While the group's members have tried their hands at solo projects, the band was ready to unite and uhh, fight, for a new spot in pop culture.

Then emerged the Backstreet Boys, whose most recent single, "Inconsolable," hit the Pop 100 and Adult Contemporary charts. "Howie D" (seen here) will actually turn 35 on Aug. 22.

In 1999, band member Nick Carter was voted "The Biggest Teen Idol" by Teen People magazine. A teen no more, Carter, now 28, is the group's youngest member.

A preview of the group's play list which included blast from the past: "I Want It That Way" --one of the hottest songs of 1999.

And for some fans, those blasts from the pasts were all good.
