For years, there have been bad Photoshopped images claiming that, "Today is the day Marty went to the future."

But Oct. 21, 2015 is really the day, and social media has not disappointed with comments marking the day that has gone down in film history.

Some are hailing the day as a day to celebrate, while others are taking a look at what the movie predicted and what actually came true.

There is even a connection between "Back to the Future" and businessman-turned-politician Donald Trump.
