Star Wars fans from all walks of life have geared up in recent weeks to celebrate the opening of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." The latest installment in the series has even gotten some famous faces in costume.

On Dec. 14, actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, 34, made quite a splash when he showed up to the premiere of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in green face. He posed for multiple photos while dressed as the sage Jedi Master Yoda.

Actor Rainn Wilson, 49, and his son also dressed for the occasion.

Country singers Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, both 48, celebrated early Friday by getting into costumes. The couple faced-off in an image posted to Instagram.

"Good morning," Hill wrote. "This is how we woke up our kids!!"

Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, 40, dressed as a Stormtrooper from head-to-toe to walk his daughters to school. He posted an image of his walk to Instagram Friday.

"Embarrassing dad!" he captioned the photo.

Mixed martial artist superstar Ronda Rousey, 28, dressed in a Stormtrooper outfit for a "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" showing.

"I'm a little short for a Stormtrooper," she wrote on an image posted to Instagram Friday.

Best known as the latest face of Superman, Henry Cavill, 32, donned a Jedi robe and grasped a lightsaber for a photo posted to Instagram Friday.

"May the Force be with you," he wrote.

Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg posted a pair of adorable photos of his family getting into the spirit on Thursday and Friday.

In the first, his recently born daughter lay swaddled in brown cloth reminiscent of a Jedi robe. She looked off into the distance as she lay among Star Wars memorabilia.

In the second his dog, Beast, appeared to wear a Jedi robe of his own with a red lightsaber tucked into its front.

Actress Olivia Munn, 35, took to Instagram on Dec. 11 to show off a newly bought Star Wars shirt. In the background her boyfriend, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, 32, stood dressed in a Jedi robe.

"Who's the bigger #StarWars fan... the one who bought this awesome shirt at @oldnavy or the one who already owned his Obi-Wan Kenobi robe?" she wrote.

Not all stars waited to show off their Star Wars fandom in recent weeks. On Halloween, actor Neil Patrick Harris, 42, posted a photo to Instagram of his family decked out in Star Wars regalia.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opened in theaters Friday.
