Wednesday marked October 21, 2015, the date Marty McFly and Doc Brown set as their destination.

Though most of the movie's predictions 26 years ago didn't come true (we're looking at you, flying cars and self-tying sneakers), the movie came close on one thing: the Cubs are in the playoffs. Now we just have to wait and see if they actually take the title.

In honor of Back to the Future Day, Doc Brown delivered a very special message to fans everywhere.
