A mobile photography truck is hoping to provide a convenient way for local residents to take professional headshots.

Founded in Los Angeles, The Headshot Truck brought its first pink box truck to Atlanta in January. Setting up at popular metro Atlanta locations such as Atlantic Station and Ponce City Market, the company offers makeup touchups and wardrobe consultations prior to photoshoots.

As music plays, clients can pose in front of a backdrop towards the back of the truck, viewing the photos in real time on a screen.

Sharpsburg native Drew Dawson, director of photography, says metro Atlanta was a great market for The Headshot Truck to expand into because of the abundance of corporate and entertainment people who live here. The company’s goal is to provide a service to these groups in a way that is fun and convenient.

“The pink truck is awesome,” he says. “People want to know what it is.”

The Headshot Truck isn't all work and no play, however. In addition to offering corporate packages and professional headshots, the company often sets up outside of popular events as a photo booth.
The company is planning to set up shop outside of SunTrust Park for the Atlanta Braves opening game, giving fans who attend the team's first game in their new stadium a fun memento.

Pet photos aren’t off limits, either.

The Headshot Trucks offers several packages, including ones that last for less than five minutes and ones that take over an hour. Clients will receive all of the photos they’ve taken in 3-5 business days.
