"After an extensive search by North Bergen Police Department Detectives in cooperation with the NYPD, we have located Shirlene Quigley," the department said. "She is safe and at a medical facility whose location is undisclosed at this time.

"North Bergen Police Detectives have contacted her father, and he is in route from Los Angeles to reunite with his daughter.

We are very pleased with this outcome. We want to thank the New York City Police Department for their tremendous amount of cooperation in this matter."

Quigley was reported missing earlier this week when friends and family were unable to reach her. At the time, she was last seen around 1 a.m. Sunday at the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal.

WPIX reported that Quigley's cellphone was found in a Manhattan retail store and that the NYPD found and towed her car Monday. Quigley's Facebook page was deactivated soon after.

Rihanna shared a video of Quigley, her former dancer, on Instagram and captioned it with a plea for her followers to share any information about her whereabouts.

Missy Elliott, who has also worked with Quigley, posted to Instagram asking her followers to contact police if they had information about her as well.

Broadway Dance Center, where WPIX reported that Quigley worked, also posted a status about the missing woman. It posted an update when North Bergen Police said she had been located.

"Thank you, thank you to everyone for their support during this time," the update said.
