Basil no longer wears the cheerleading outfit from the video of the 1980s hit, which shot to No. 1 on the Billboard charts in December 1982 thanks to exposure on MTV, but Basil is being cheered by many fans on social media for her latest video, The Huffington Post reported.

Pop diva Bette Midler posted a clip of Basil dancing to Lady Alma's "It's House Music" to her Twitter account on Tuesday. "Toni B is 74! Get up on your feet and put some joy back into your life!!!" Midler tweeted.

"A mere youngster," tweeted actor William Shatner, who is 87.

Born Antonia Christina Basilotta, Basil has been an actress, choreographer and dancer. According to her website, she acted in several films, including "Easy Rider" and "Five Easy Pieces." Basil also did choreography for the 1973 movie, "American Graffiti" and acted on television, appearing most notably on "Laverne and Shirley."

Basil’s dancing ability remains crisp, and she still blows our mind when she performs.
