Today.com reported that Trainor first took to Snapchat to express her disapppointent.

"They photoshopped the crap out of me," she said. "My waist is not that teeny. I had a bomb waist that night, I don't know why they didn't like my waist. But I didn't approve that video, and it went out for the world, so I'm embarrassed."

Then Trainor made an appearance on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" and spoke more about the controversy.

"I was so upset because I thought the fans were doing it online with this screen shot and then I was like, 'Oh my God, it's my own video.'"

Trainor went on to say that she called Vevo to have the video taken down, but she approved a new version that has since been released.
