B.B. King is in home Hospice care in Las Vegas.

A message was posted to his Facebook page Friday evening:

A Message From B,B,

"I am in home hospice care at my residence in Las Vegas.

Thanks to all for your well wishes and prayers."

B.B. King

King was hospitalized earlier this month. He was diagnosed with diabetes decades ago. In October, he canceled the remaining shows in his 2014 tour after falling ill in Chicago with dehydration and exhaustion.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musician has released more than 50 albums and sold millions of records worldwide.
