David Letterman will soon find himself in company he never expected in the nation's capital. The comedian is among seven people receiving the 2012 Kennedy Center Honors. The other honorees include:

John Paul Jones, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, the surviving members of rock group Led Zeppelin, were honored at the Kennedy Center this year. The band was also the most played artist on 97.1 The River in 2012.
