Actor Joe Alaskey, best known for voicing legendary cartoon characters such as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, has died, according to multiple media reports. He was 63.
He died of cancer on Wednesday, The Telegraph reported.
The successor of voice actor Mel Blanc at Warner Bros., Alaskey also voiced a variety of characters including Tweety, Sylvester the Cat, Elmer Fudd and Marvin the Martian. Outside of Warner Bros., the New York native also provided the voice of Grandpa Pickles on Rugrats and the ghost Stinkie on Casper, according to the Internet Movie Database.
Rest in peace Mr. Alaskey.
