Some Twitter followers of Ken Jennings are scratching their heads over how such a smart guy could allegedly post such a dumb tweet.

Jennings, 40, is best known for his record-setting win streak on the game show, “Jeopardy.” Jennings has also written a series of books, including those for children. His Twitter feed is mainly made up of random facts, quotes and wry observations. But this week, his followers were greeted with a tweet that many found to be crude and insensitive.

Jennings received a lot of backlash from the offensive tweet but did not remove the post and did not apologize.

Huffington Post reached out to Jennings for a comment, but as of this writing, no response had been received.
