Jenna Bush Hager has had a pretty big month. First she officially took over the chair left vacant with the departure of Kathy Lee Gifford on the “Today” show’s fourth hour.
Then, she announced Monday that her daughters, Mila and Poppy, will be getting another sibling.
The former first daughter turned news anchor shared on "Today" that she had told friends and family the news over the holiday weekend, and her daughters told everyone they ran into.
The announcement took co-anchor Craig Melvin by surprise, as seen in the clip below.
During the show's fourth hour, the sex of the baby was revealed.
Bush Hager is having a boy, she announced on air.
She was joined at the desk by Meredith Viera, who is filling in for Hoda Kotb after she announced last week that she adopted another little girl, Hope. Kotb also has another adopted daughter named Haley.
