Just three months after Harrison Ford survived a horrific plane crash, the actor has been seen taking flight once again.

Ford broke his pelvis and ankle while suffering a severe head laceration when he crashed his World War II era plane on a golf course March 5.

Thursday, he was seen at the Santa Monica airport in California.

Carrying only a small rucksack and wearing a smile, the actor climbed into his $2.6 million green 2013 Bell 407 Helicopter, along with a co-pilot.

After flying for a bit, he landed and was greeted with a hug from a friend before leaving in a golf cart.

Ford has crashed before in a helicopter, actually flipping it, but walked away unscathed.

“Flying is like good music: it elevates the spirit and it's an exhilarating freedom," he said of one of his favorite hobbies. “It's not a thrill thing or an adrenaline rush; it's engaging in a process that takes focus and commitment.”

The star added that crashing a plane is like scraping the bumper of a car.

The outing by the 72-year-old came just a week after Ford was spotted in the first time in public since the plane crash on the Venice golf course.
