Fulton County asst. district attorney is 'The Bachelorette'

When "The Bachelorette" returns to ABC Monday night, Fulton County assistant district attorney Andi Dorfman takes center stage. And former Bulldog quarterback Aaron Murray's brother is just one of the men competing for her attention.

"The Bachelorette" returns to ABC and WSB-TV Monday night.

And when it does, all eyes will be on a Fulton County assistant district attorney.

That's because Andi Dorfman is "The Bachelorette."

Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard let one of his assistant DAs take a leave of absence to be on a dating reality show.

"Andi is a young lawyer who has been with the office for less than two years," Howard said. "As much as we prize her work, we can get along without her for two months. Although we could use more lawyers and more help, it is not uncommon for employees to leave for similar periods due to pregnancies, medical reasons and unexpected emergencies. Again, we wish the best for Andi while we continue the very serious business of keeping our community safe."

This season of "The Bachelorette" starts Monday night at 9:30 p.m. on WSB-TV.

Josh Murray is one of the men appearing on this season of the show. He's a former Georgia Bulldog football player and his brother is former quarterback Aaron Murray.
