Find your pocket protector -- 'geek chic' is in

Geek chic is back in.

Geeks are IN. Designers like Russell Simmons of Phat Farm offer nerdy sweaters for sale. But what exactly makes a geek? Vote on whether these guys and gals are GEEK or CHIC.

What makes geek style? Well, glasses help, as do clothes that are outdated, stuffy or look like golf clothes. Still, we can't deny that some geeks are charming, like Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) of "The Office."

Pocket protectors: ... and the genre was reinforced only six years later by Anthony Edwards and Robert Carradine in "Revenge of the Nerds."

Napoleon Dynamite (Jon Heder): He suits up as a classic geek, but pretty much the whole cast of the movie counts.

Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) are brilliant physicists -- scientists equals geek, right -- but their genius doesn't translate to how to relate to women on "The Big Bang Theory."

Kenneth (former Conyers resident Jack McBrayer) works as an NBC page, a highly-sought-after entry level position, and is over-eager to please his colleagues on "30 Rock." The required blazer adds to his geek cred.
