Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Mohamed Sanu brought the superhero to the field Sunday — with a tribute to Marvel creator Stan Lee in the form of custom cleats.
The cleats had a sketch of Lee, who died November 12 at the age of 95, in a Spider-Man design. Spider-Man was one of Lee’s most famous creations — along with the Hulk, Iron Man, the X-Men and hundreds of other characters that have had a renaissance in the past decade as they hit the big screen.
