It’s an age-old parenting dilemma: Do you go work out or do you build a two-story house for your 3-year-old’s Barbie?

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson faced just that scenario Monday, when his middle daughter, Jasmine, stopped him on the way out the door.

"My 'On my way out the door to get my morning workout in before work and my 3yr old Jazzy says Daddy can you put together this Barbie house please' look.
It's a two story house. 🤦🏽‍♂️" the actor wrote in an Instagram post.

“Of course, I can sweetheart - daddy can do anything, but let’s get mommy because she’s awesome at this and wanted to personally put it together for you 😈,” he continued.

Many parents among Johnson’s 146 million followers could relate.

“Hahahahaha,” actor Josh Brolin replied.

“Best passing the heat ever,” thetommydreamer wrote.

“Any guy with kids knows exactly what you are talking about lol 😂,” workoutprograms replied.

“🤣🤣 yup, Moms can do everything!!” nichellelaus chimed in.

But many others thought The Rock dropped the ball on this one.

“Kids before workouts!! They won’t be this small forever and I don’t think you’re gonna lose your muscles over one missed workout,” Jennie Somerville wrote.

“Dude ... put it together WITH her ... you don’t get that time back. (Cats in the cradle my dear.)” Jennifer Jones sechrist said.

“Strong man can do both,” norbert_sprueche wrote.

“Nahhh, build that barbie house! Why give up simple ways of being your kids here!?” asked Jason Herrington.

No posts yet on the finished house, or who ultimately constructed it.
