Masti Fun Indian open in Toco Hills

A new casual twist on Indian cooking from the Walia Hospitality Group (Café Bombay, CB Catering), Masti — Fun Indian Street Eats recently opened in the former Osteria Cibo Rustico space in the Toco Hills Promenade. Masti translates to "fun" in Hindi, and the menu features everything from a spiced keema burger and paneer hot dog to butter chicken tacos and Nepalese steamed dumplings. Todd Richards at White Oak Kitchen

Todd Richards is the new executive chef at White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails in downtown Atlanta, replacing Timothy Magee, now the chef at Community Smith in Midtown. A self-taught cook and 2013 James Beard Awards semifinalist for Best Chef Southeast, Richards served as executive chef at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead and most recently chef/partner at the Shed in Glenwood Park and the Pig & the Pearl at Atlantic Station. Tour farmers markets with Watershed chef

On June 20, take a cycling tour of some of Atlanta's favorite farmers markets with Watershed on Peachtree's executive chef Zeb Stevenson. Tour de Chef will begin at Morningside Farmers Market, cycle to Freedom Farmers Market and Green Market for Piedmont Park, then finish back at Morningside. The Grey selected by Food & Wine

The Grey in Savannah, featuring chef Mashama Bailey, was selected by Food & Wine magazine among "the most exceptional openings of the past year" in its first-ever Restaurants of the Year Awards.
