Have you been to Gunshow, Miller Union, The General Muir or Cakes & Ale? If so, you've been in the presence of a chef nominated for one of the food industry's highest honor, a James Beard Award. We're crossing our fingers that at least one of these guys takes home the win for Atlanta.

Todd Ginsberg, The General Muir, Atlanta, GA
Ginsberg first received recognition for Emory Pointe's The General Muir, and then again for Yalla and Fred's Meat & Bread in the incredibly popular Krog Street Market.

Kevin Gillespie, Gunshow, Atlanta, GA
With all the well-deserved publicity Gunshow has received lately, it's easy to forget that Gillespie was a finalist on season six of "Top Chef." His cafeteria-style Glenwood Park establishment was also recently named one of the best restaurants in America by Esquire.

Billy Allin, Cakes & Ale, Decatur, GA
Many would argue that the Decatur Square is a dream destination for dining enthusiasts. A mainstay on the square since 2011, Allin's Cakes & Ale is a big part of that experience, due to the "deep and personal menu" and some of the best and local ingredients around.

Steven Satterfield, Miller Union, Atlanta, GA
Miller Union was elevating the restaurant game on Atlanta's Westside long before it became a culinary hot spot. Since 2009, Steven Satterfield has been serving local and inspired dishes to hungry patrons. With Spring just around the corner, now is the perfect time for a refresh on Satterfield's healthy dishes for summer.
