The New Georgia Railroad s dining excursion train was so popular, it often was booked weeks in advance. This dining car was a part of the train in 1991.

Diners enter the Orient Express restaurant in Vinings through the Chattahoochee River, a vintage rail car that formerly was operated by the Western Railway of Alabama and Atlanta and West Point Railroad on the West Point Route.

Most Victoria Station restaurants looked the same. This one, seen near Cumberland Mall in 1982, was Atlanta s second, with the first being at Piedmont Road and Lindbergh Drive.

The dining car that formerly operated as a restaurant at The Station in Carrboro, NC. Former owner Lee Epting said he believes it s the same car that was at his first version of The Station in Athens in the 1970s.
