On Monday, October 5, Here 2 Serve Restaurants announced to employees that they were to close that evening. A message on their website confirmed the news that 10 restaurants, including Twist, Noche and Strip were to close. Not known, is if this is permanent, as the group said in their message that they are "working on reorganization." What is known however, is that this news affects the 1,000 employees that are now in need of a new job.
As news spread of the sudden closings, restaurants around Atlanta stepped up to offer those affected jobs. Several restaurants took to social media and a Facebook group was created specifically for those who had lost their jobs. Here is a roundup of restaurant jobs in Atlanta right now.
