Grain Bar Spirits and Food

Grain's simple touches and high quality will have you visiting for more than happy hour, but if you're around on a weekday between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., meander in for $1 oysters. Don't stop there. The cocktails are amazing, and they perfectly paired with a sweet view of West Peachtree.

The Oyster Bar at The Optimist

For one hour each day, swing into The Oyster Bar at The Optimist for five varieties of chef-selected oysters at only $1 each. Executive Chef Adam Evans sources these specific cold-water bivalves from the Northeastern American coast, all the way up to Canada. From briny to sweet and buttery, pair your happy hour oyster offerings with libations from Eduardo Guzman's craft cocktail menu. Enjoy "Fish House Punch" for $5 a mug during the hour, a concoction of spiced rum, brandy, peach whiskey, black tea, lemon and sugar, or opt for cocktails like "Lonely Boy" with cinnamon and clove-infused tequila, available all evening.

Yard House

Brews and bites rule at Yard House, and happy hour makes it even harder to resist. The chef makes over 100 different dishes from scratch each day, and more than 25 of those are easier on the wallet weekdays from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. and Monday – Friday from 10 p.m. until close. From Moo Shu Egg Rolls at $5 to Blue Crab Cakes and Mushroom Lettuce Wraps for $7. Late Night Happy Hour also includes drink deals like $2 off beer cocktails and $3 off the house martini.
