A Mexican restaurant in Duluth failed its recent health inspection, with officials reporting that employees were not washing their hand—or dining tables—properly.

The restaurant, El Dorado Two at 3385 Buford Highway, received a 59/U on the Wednesday afternoon inspection.

According to the inspection report, employees were observed washing their hands with only cold water. One employee was also seen handling raw meat, disposing his gloves and not washing his hands before handling corn tortillas.

Officials also reported watching one worker "clean multiple dining room tables with only one wet wiping cloth. The cloth never returned to the sanitizer in between use on each table."

In addition, the inspector noted raw fish being washed in the restaurant's vegetable sink, improperly cooling beef, rusty shelving in the walk-in cooler and unlabeled foods.

A follow-up inspection will be completed by Aug. 5.

Calls to El Dorado Two went unanswered Thursday afternoon.
