Burgers

Atlantans will do almost anything for a burger. For years, Holeman and Finch Public House convinced people to wait hours for a chance to taste its double-stack cheeseburger at 10 p.m. But, what's the best burger available at noon, when you want a stack of beef that'll fill you for the day? Some of our favorites include Ghetto Burger, Fred's Meat and Bread and One Eared Stag. See the rest of the burgers we crowned "king" of Atlanta.

Go green

Let's admit it: Dining out for lunch can leave you feeling sluggish. A big plate of pasta, one too many slices of pizza, an enchilada smothered in sauce (besides that basket of complimentary chips and salsa you gorged on) – it's only noon and you're already looking for a place to lay down your head. Time to turn your eyes to the salad. That's rabbit food, you say? Think again.  This list of where to fuel up for lunch when you don't want to be weighed down includes favorites like Miller Union, Cakes and Ale and Bocado.

In 30 minutes or less

Let's face it, who gets a lunch hour any more? And even if you do, by the time you walk or drive somewhere, you've wasted half your lunch break. We've got the picks on where to get in and out in 30 minutes when you find yourself in these bustling areas of town. (Hint: there's something for everyone in the sprawling metro area.)
