EeRecipe Rice Crepes House in Duluth has been quietly creating a buzz among Atlanta foodies on the hunt for authentic and rare Asian delicacies. True to its name, the unassuming little restaurant specializes in housemade chang fen -- thin, silky steamed rice noodle sheets fashioned into crepes with a variety of fillings, from savory to sweet.

The look: EeRecipe is in a plaza on North Berkeley Lake Road, along with all sorts of restaurants and shops -- and a new H&Y Asian supermarket is set to open next door. Inside, bright orange dominates the cheerful color scheme. Cozy booths and cafe tables are equipped with push buttons to summon your server.

The scene: One Sunday afternoon, a multigenerational family settled in at a long table to enjoy big bowls of rice crepes soup ($5.77-$9.33). Other diners ordered daily chalkboard specials, such as chicken porridge ($3.77) or nasi lemak ($5.77) -- Malaysian-style coconut rice, served with multiple accompaniments, including a sliced hard-boiled egg and a fried chicken leg.

The menu: For those not exactly familiar with some items on the menu, servers are quick to supply a handy flip book of photos that's worth a thousand words. Barbecue pork ($3.77), Chinese sausage with cilantro ($3.77), and lemon grass chicken satay covered in house tom yam sauce are among the favorite rice crepes. Starters include veggie spring rolls ($1.99) and fried pork dumplings ($3.33).

The drinks: There's a cooler with canned Coca-Cola products and bottled water. Slushie drinks ($1.99) are flavored with the likes of strawberry, green apple, kiwi, lychee, mango or avocado. Hot drinks ($1.99) include peanut with milk, red bean, and sweet yam with tapioca.

The extras: For dessert, try the "sweetie rolls" ($3.77), rice crepes with sesame and peanut or banana and corn. EeRecipe sells rice crepes to both retail and wholesale customers and offers catering for weddings, parties and business events.
